Robert Quackenbush: Artist Robert Quackenbush is the author/artist of over 200 books for young readers and a painter whose work is in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum,the Smithsonian Institution, and in the collections of private collectors in the U.S. and abroad.Animated films produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment based on his popular Miss Mallard Mysteries for young readers are showing in 70 countries around the world. He offers after school art programs for children at this Manhattan studio. For adults he offers a four day annual July workshop on writing and/or illustrating books for young readers. In addition, he frequently goes on author tours and has visited schools and libraries across the U.S.(including Alaska), South America, Europe, and the Middle East giving programs to instill in children a love of books and reading.
